Kinesiology

What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology (pronounced Kin-easy-ology) is a simple and safe method of analysis and treatment of the energy system of the body. Kinesiology does not diagnose medical conditions and advice should always be sought from a medical doctor.

Using muscle testing we can literally gain access to our body’s internal computer system and find out about the overall health and balance of our mind/body.  It provides a unique way of communicating directly with the client’s body and can be used to identify stress or imbalances and confirm effective corrections and treatments.

It works by monitoring a person’s ability to hold a muscle against a light pressure. Each muscle is related to an organ and also its relative acupuncture meridian. Any stress on the body whether it is caused by poor diet, structural misalignment, emotional issues, allergies, or a stressful lifestyle will affect the muscle response.

This enables a personal treatment plan to be devised which may include nutritional supplements, stress release techniques, flower essences, acupressure, chakra balancing, light touch, firm reflex massage, suggested lifestyle changes, and more.

The benefits of Kinesiology

Everyone can benefit Although it does not claim to treat specific conditions rather helps the body heal itself. everyone can benefit from babies to the elderly, athletes, the fit to the injured and unwell, dyslexics, performers and even animals. If someone cannot be muscle tested directly because they are too young, injured, in pain or even unconscious, a surrogate can be used. Surrogate testing is another unique kinesiology tool.
